What is the RE-DISS project ?

The RE-DISS project aims at improving significantly the reliability and accuracy of the information given to consumers of electricity in Europe regarding the origin of the electricity they are consuming. Such information is given to all consumers through the regime of electricity source disclosure, which is a requirement on all European suppliers of electricity.

For more information on the project:

Who should attend ?

This webinar is mainly aimed at electricity suppliers and market players, but other electricity stakeholders can also find it interesting.

What information will be shared ?

Participants to the webinar will be presented with the contents of the Disclosure Guidelines that the RE-DISS team has elaborated following in-depth desk research, a European-wide consultation among electricity stakeholders and consumer and environmental NGOs.

The purpose of these guidelines is to help electricity suppliers to optimise the contents and format of the disclosure information.

The RE-DISS team will introduce the tracking instruments that are available on the European market (Guarantees of origin, Residual Mix, Other tracking insutruments). An overview will be given in terms of possible parameters to disclose (country of origin, share of supported electricity, additionality…).

Examples of good reporting formats will be shown and explained.

This webinar session is an opportunity for electricity suppliers to make disclosure information attractive and meaningful to their end consumers.
