Detailed studies of the selected zones

The objective of this task is to collect precise data describing the energy demand and ability to pay of the targeted population.

The study consists in surveying a sample of households to analyze the energy demand patterns, through the following aspects:

• traditional energy uses,


• energy demand,


• monthly budget allocated to energy expenses, that can be substituted by electricity,


• ability and willingness to purchase an energy system (pico-hydro or Solar Home systems).
